Customized Book Design
Corvus was conceived and created right here in this studio, from the writing of the poems, the illustrations, the layout, and final arrangements with the printer.
Meeka Finds a Home started with a client who one day said to me, "My husband and I want to create a children's book that tells the story of how our cat, Meeka, came to us. And we want our grandkids to be part of the story." So she and I wrote the story together. From their photographs of both Meeka and grandkids, I turned the photos into impressionist-like "paintings," away from high rez or photographic realism. Then I did the layout of story and illustrations, and off it went to the printer.
